Ever the optimistic visionary, we’re sure when Walt Disney released his breakthrough feature, Snow White in 1937, he had no idea how successful the group of animated female heroines known as the Disney Princesses would become. The Disney Princess franchise has become a marketing tour de force and Popgun was honored to take part in its comprehensive rebrand.
Working closely with Disney designers, we explored title ratios, background shapes, textures and finishes, to represent the eleven Disney Princesses in one unified identity. Once the primary identity was established with tasteful sprinklings of glitter and crystal, we created translations in twelve languages, truly making it a global rebrand.
Now we look forward to watching the Disney Princess rebrand implemented world wide on everything from costumes and toys to apparel and home decor.
